Charlie is a an Australian veteran with a passion for the Kokoda campaign, a defining moment in World War II and in Australian history. Charlie has led 65 expeditions across Kokoda, usually as part of corporate or personal development programs.
Charlie shared with the audience stories of courage and bravery of Australian soldiers he has met in his life-time and delivered moving and inspiring poems.
Amongst his stories of survival, hardship and leadership despite the adversity of war, he shared his belief on the essence of leadership.
“If you believe that every person you lead, work with and live with has the capacity within them, then you will be a great leader.”
As a great leader you must ensure the people you are leading are equipped with the support for them to have the self-belief in themselves.
Charlie helped the audience understand the ANZAC spirit and delivered an emotive and inspiring presentation.
